What to Consider When Choosing a Wheel Balancer

Shaft Diameter & Length

Standard 40 mm shafts fit most cars, but for custom alloy wheels with deep offsets, shaft length and thread quality are crucial.

Measurement Speed

Automatic touchless data input reduces the balancing cycle for a single wheel from 3 minutes down to 40 seconds.

Adapters & Centering Cones

High-quality centering cones and adapters are essential for accurate mounting of both steel and custom alloy rims.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should a wheel balancer be calibrated? +
We recommend performing a control calibration before the start of each peak season (Spring/Autumn) or after every 1,000 balancing cycles. Calibration is also mandatory after machine relocation or accidental heavy impacts on the shaft.
What is the advantage of pneumatic clamping over a mechanical nut? +
Pneumatic clamping secures the wheel rim with a consistent preset force in 1 second without spinning a heavy handle. This completely removes human error (over- or under-tightening), protects shaft threading, and speeds up clamping 3 to 4 times.
Do you supply adapters for balancing wheels without a center hole? +
Yes, our catalog includes flange and stud-hole adapters (such as Haweka systems) for lug-centric rims found on Peugeot and Citroën vehicles, as well as specialized faceplates for rare bolt patterns.
What is the difference between a 6 o'clock laser line and a spot laser? +
A 6 o'clock laser line indicates the longitudinal plane at the bottom of the rim (convenient under good lighting). A Spot Laser projects an exact point where the weight must be stuck inside the rim, eliminating longitudinal positioning errors completely.
What power supply is required: 220V or 380V? +
Most modern passenger car wheel balancers run on a single-phase 220V network, as inverter drives draw very little power during spin-up. Heavy-duty truck balancers require a 380V supply or an air supply line with 8-10 bar pressure.
How does the SPLIT function save weights and preserve aesthetics? +
The SPLIT program divides the required balancing weight into two parts and calculates their locations directly behind adjacent alloy spokes. This renders the wheel weights completely invisible from the outside of the vehicle.
Can wheels with rim deformation be balanced? +
Machines equipped with Runout diagnostic rollers measure geometric eccentricity and determine whether imbalance is caused by rim distortion or tire imperfection. The system then recommends an optimization program (rotating the tire relative to the rim).
Do you provide warranty and on-site service? +
Yes, all supplied equipment comes with an official manufacturer warranty 12 months. Our engineering team handles commissioning, staff training, and prompt on-site maintenance.
