Installation Conditions and Engineering Requirements

Foundation Requirements
  • Installation type: surface-mounted modular installation; no complex recessed concrete pit is required.
  • Surface: well-compacted and durable crushed-stone base.
  • Thickness: minimum layer of 300 mm.
  • Load-bearing capacity: suitable for continuous heavy truck traffic, minimum 200 kN/m².
Electrical Supply
  • Operating voltage: 415 V, stable 3-phase supply.
  • Connection type: Plug-and-Play quick-connect system, excluding the main electrical distribution board.
  • Generator: for autonomous operation, a generator rated at approximately 45–60 kVA is recommended.
Water Consumption and Losses
  • Total tank volume: the recycling system includes a 24,000-litre reservoir.
  • Average losses: approximately 50–150 litres per vehicle due to carry-out on wheels and evaporation.
  • Top-up requirement: approximately 2–5 m³ per day under medium load and up to 10 m³ per day under intensive operation.
Water Recycling Principle and Settlement Tank Cleaning
The system operates in a closed loop: contaminated water from the washing platform flows into the settlement tank, where sludge settles at the bottom while clarified water passes through a system of partitions and is returned to the spray nozzles. Sludge accumulation typically ranges from 0.5–1.5 m³ per week under average operating conditions to approximately 3–5 m³ per week in heavy-duty environments. The settlement tank can be cleaned using a vacuum tanker or excavator. Recommended servicing intervals are every 2–4 weeks for low traffic (<50 vehicles/day), once per week for medium traffic, and 2–3 times per week for intensive traffic (>100 vehicles/day) on clay-heavy sites.
